Free access by RSB to a set of Standards contributing COVID-19 prevention
In a bid to complement the Government efforts related to protective measures set in place to fight against the spread of COVID-19 virus; Rwanda Standards Board is sharing with the general public; National, Regional and International Standards which contribute to combat COVID-19 crisis.
They include national standards on personal hygiene (hand washing and hand sanitiser) and protective equipment, European (EN and AFNOR standards) and international standards developed by International organisation for Standardisation (ISO), American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) on masks (medical and barriers masks), medical gloves, gowns, lung ventilators, respiratory as well as protective devices and clothing.
Providing free access to these standards during the Coronavirus outbreak enables companies that produce or import the above products to know applicable standards to speed up manufacturing, access or delivery on the market quality products to quicker help those in need. These standards are freely available and can be downloaded from RSB website.
